Paul Franklin and Nancy Mikula are a travel photographer and writer team who have written several books together, most recently Backroads of South Carolina and South Carolina Plantations & Historic Homes. Franklin’s photographs appear in Our Washington, D.C. and many other travel books, as well as numerous national publications. Nancy Mikula’s articles on travel, historic, and human-interest subjects have appeared in such magazines as Maturity, Leisureways, and Writer’s Digest. She recently authored the Top Ten Guide to Santa Fe and Taos.
