Overview

Zach Lichtmann is an author, writing-workshop facilitator, and arts advocate. He recently completed his newest young-adult novel, Dynamo, and is currently booking writing workshops for 2014.

Lichtmann has been known to sneak into university lecture halls from Temple to Harvard, and draws on some of those experiences in his newest novel. He loves to write and does it constantly. In his own words: "Writing's not just an account of what's already occurred--it's the catalyst for sharing and discovering everything meaningful in our humanity!" Those who have been in one of his classes would agree. For Lichtmann and the students he inspires, there's something powerful and exciting about the writing process.

Lichtmann earned his B.A. in English at Penn State University. He went on to graduate Arcadia University's Secondary Education program for teaching and spent several years building large fleets of young, horizon-hunting writers in his classes.
