Rhodes (Mid-West School of Biblical Studies; B.A., University of Central Missouri; M.A. in History, West Texas A&M University; M.A. in Political Science, Tarleton State University) is the Pulpit Minister for the Granbury Street Church of Christ in Cleburne, Texas. He is the former Director of Curriculum at Midwestern School of Preaching and the former Associate Editor of Sound Words.

He is the author of numerous books, including How to Study the Bible: A Practical Guide to Biblical Hermeneutics and What God Hath Joined Together: The Beauty of Christian Marriage, and he co-authored Sound Words Revisited.
