About the Author

Paulette Sizemore and her husband, Basil have been happily married for forty-eight years. They have three children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Paulette loves to write. She has written twenty-three gospel songs, several short stories, and has had one of her poems published. The poem was written about one of her infant granddaughters.
Basil has a passion for music. A few years ago, the Sizemore family ’s gospel singing group and band were known as the Amazing Grace Trio.
The trio sang at several small churches in the Knoxville area. Since the children have grown up and married, the singing has more or less come to a standstill. However, they sing at their home church where their younger daughter ’s husband, James, is the pastor. On special occasions, they all gather at Basil and Paulette’s home for one of mama’s home-cooked meals and then after eating do some “picking and grinning.”
