Bolinas
“Bolinas” is book three, the final book in Wesley Gurion’s Boyhood Trilogy. The first two volumes are: “Howard Street Days,” and “The Projects,” available as affordable Nook edtions.

In “Bolinas,” fifteen year old Wesley leaves Los Angeles to live with his father Bernie in the small Northern California town of Bolinas. His father has embraced the counterculture and lives a freewheeling new age lifestyle. Bolinas is a tiny coastal town with no streetlights and barely a main street, inhabited by a combination of hippies and red necks. The house he shares with his father and sister is at the end of a dirt road, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the wild Pacific Ocean. High school, a new experience for Wesley, is an hour away over the mountains through redwood forests. This is life changed beyond anything that city-born Wesley has ever known, with deer on his front porch and a desolate rocky beach out his back door. Between life with his unorthodox father, his new friendship with town local, Buck, and his growing crush on ninth grade beauty, Julie, Wesley has a year that he will never forget. And neither will you!
