Overview

“Bolinas” is book three, the final book in Wesley Gurion’s Boyhood Trilogy. The first two volumes are: “Howard Street Days,” and “The Projects,” available as affordable Nook edtions.

In “Bolinas,” fifteen year old Wesley leaves Los Angeles to live with his father Bernie in the small Northern California town of Bolinas. His father has embraced the counterculture and lives a freewheeling new age lifestyle. Bolinas is a tiny coastal town with no streetlights and barely a main street, inhabited by a combination of hippies and red necks. The house he shares with his father and sister is at the end of a dirt road, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the wild Pacific Ocean. About the Author

Wesley Gurion was born in Hollywood, California in 1955. He has lived, worked and written in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Miami, and London. He is the author of numerous books, novels, and “shorts,” pieces on a wide variety of topics. To each of these he brings his own original style and outlook. Currently he is back in Hollywood, writing his weekly series of “Hollywood Shorts,” soon to be available on Nook.
