About the Author

Ronald Lind
Ronald holds an MBA/MIS degree from the University of South Dakota. He has held nearly every position in the Information Technology field from End-User Support Technician to Chief Information Officer. He currently holds the position of CIO and President of The Computer Connectors LLC, a business and technical consulting firm based in South Dakota. Ronald also believes in giving back to the community. As such, he spends a significant portion of his time during the Fall and Spring seasons as an adjunct instructor at the local universities teaching Computer Science courses. And last but certainly not least, another great source of pride for Ronald is the opportunity to help feed the world’s 7 billion people by raising food and industrial use crops on the family farm.

Dr. Joy Lind
Joy graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Ph.D. in Mathematics and M.S. in Operations Research. She is currently an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota, where she teaches courses in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Business. Prior to joining the USF faculty, Joy was employed at the companies Avaya and Level 3 Communications as an Operations Research Analyst, Senior IT Project Manager, Process Manager, Business Partner, and Service Level Manager. Joy is certified as a Project Management Professional (P.M.P.). She has presented at various regional and national conferences and is published in several well-respected mathematical journals including Discrete Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Programming.
