About the Author

Teri Meehan is co-owner and primary founder of Wash Perk Coffee House in Denver, Colo. A graduate of Villanova University School of Nursing, she was an oncology nurse and massage therapist until age 41. It was then that she happened upon a space for rent in her neighborhood that seemed like it should be a comfortable place with great coffee. She still owns Wash Perk with her partner, Debbi Main, and continues “post-graduate” work in living her own life.
