About the Author

Diana Kanecki is an author, poet, designer, scientist, researcher, and executive. She has started many companies, a serial entrepreneur, as well as speaking on public issues. Most of her readings are through open-mics or author events in the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor, Phoenix, and Florida. In addition, she works with various groups as LGBT, domestic violence organizations, systers.org, NAPW and others as part of a community outreach.
In addition, Ms. Kanecki is a transgender and has written books on help individuals and organizations. She has MBA from the University of Phoenix in Change Management, BS in Applied Computer Science and BS in Biological Science / Pre-Med from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and is about to complete her Doctoral in Organizational Behavior and Management (40 credits towards completion); she has worked in medical research and provided a supporting, medical role in Operations Desert Shield / Desert Storm. Past Chairperson / Associate Vice President of Emergency Management for the Society for Computer Simulation (scs.org) from 1992-1999.
