MADONNA was the victim of a Stalker who believed he was her husband and wanted to slit her throat from ear to ear. The Stalker wouldn't stop trying to climb the walls to her compound. Eventually he was caught swimming in her private pool.
MEL GIBSON would seem to be able to protect himself from Stalkers. However his Stalker remained obsessed with with him and wanted to pray with him.
CATHERINE ZETA JONES with her husband MICHAEL DOUGLAS had to deal with an anonymous Stalker who wanted to kill Catherine. Eventually the Stalker revealed herself which lead to her arrest.
JOHN CUSACK wouldn't seem to be the type that Stalkers would want to pursue except this female Stalker continued to track him down for years until she was arrest at his Malibu beach house.
STEVEN SPIELBERG's Stalker is in a league all by himself. He continued to find ways to pursue Spielberg and his family. Fortunately the Stalker was caught before he could carry out his elaborate plan to sexually assault the victim.
One may feel envious of all of the above CELEBRITIES. As exciting a life as all Celebrities seem to live, there is a price they have to pay by losing their privacy and always under intense pressures to perform at their best. In retrospect maybe our mundane lives aren't so bad after all. Maybe we need to learn to enjoy your own life. It may not be all that bad compared to the CELEBRITIES lives examined in this book. The so called CELEBRITY LIFE may not be all that it is cracked up to be. Enjoy your life for what it is even if it may not seem PERFECT IN EVERYWAY.
