Terry Taylor lives in Asheville, North Carolina, and works as an editor, jeweler, and metal artist. He has authored numerous Lark books, including Altered Art, and his project designs have been published in over four dozen Lark titles.

A lifelong, full-time resident of Manitoulin Island, Canada, Dylon Whyte has been studying and making original chain mail creations and patterns for 20 years. In 2002, he self-published a book on the construction of chain mail titled The Art of Chainmail - Volume I - European Patterns. While not operating his own computer repair and web design business, he creates and sells unique handmade chain mail jewelry at local markets and festivals.
