About the Author

After years of archaeological excavation and travelling Chris settled in the mountains north of Brisbane. Life in the bush was very different from Britain and the cities he was used to. He and his family worked hard to raise animals and grow crops on a rugged piece of land surrounded by forest. But Nature, and in particular the dingo pack, had other ideas. Charlie's story is mostly true. Amidst the hardships Chris and his family learnt to love the natural world of D'Aguilar National Park. Memories of the characters in 'Suzanne's family' are still vivid. Like animal lovers all over the world they would not trade away a moment of their time with them.
