About the Author

Greg Cooper, MPA, is the Manager of the Investigative Support Services Division of Motorola, Inc., overseeing the development of intuitive investigative software applications, as well as providing on-site training and consultation to law enforcement agencies worldwide in crime analysis, criminal behavior and police administration.
Mike King, M.S., C.L.P.E., is a Senior Investigative Analyst for Motorola, Inc., working on intuitive investigative software applications as well as providing on-site support and training to law enforcement agencies worldwide in crime analysis and criminal behavior. He retired from full-time law enforcement in 2004 with 25 years of service and is still a sworn officer doing analytical work for the Ogden City Police Dept. During his law enforcement career, Mike attained the rank of Lieutenant and was appointed Chief of Staff in the Utah Attorney General’s Office with a staff of over 400 legal and law enforcement professionals. His law enforcement experience includes patrol, investigations, and administration at the city, county, and state levels of government.
