Some background history why I started to write children books: in 2012 my husband and I were involved in a severe car accident during our holiday in Italy. After recovery I had just one wish: I would like to share a smile with all children all over the world; those who live in wealth as well as those that live in poverty. The stories are all about our cat Kye! I'm member of SCBWI since 2015. I studied at the Royal academy of fine arts in The Hague. I love to paint (glaze technique) All illustrations in the books are my own. Our first approach was creating an App for iPads, the first three books are available as 3D audio and 2D self-read Apps but I would like to reach a broader audience because, my biggest wish in future; I would like to donate part of the proceeds to purchase schoolbooks for children living in the poor countries of the world. The illustrations and the writing absorb all my free time.
