The gang tries to find the book in the jungle while Nellie Gomez in Trilon Laboratories in Delaware, Pony in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Fiske at the Callender Institute in New York City try to find clues that may lead to the riven crystal. They must do this while Amy is still alive. A thrilling story that continues in the next book. It is not necessary to read previous books in the series, but it is helpful to understand some of the history.
