Crimson and The Battle of Lonely Mountain Book
My 8 year old daughter and I loved this book! We fell in love with the characters instantly. Valerie writes beautifully and really transports the reader into the world she created. Each night before bed we read a a few pages, and of course each night it was "mommy, please read more, just a little more!" We really enjoyed reading about Crimson and friends each night and you will too!
Crimson is really cool. One of my favorite parts is when Crimson struck Sparks Snorter with his poison. I also liked when all the villagers yelled "Huzzah!". Another thing I liked is when the guards drew their pole axes and the villagers ran and threw their meatballs. Another one of my favorite characters is Amethyst because she has two heads, one a good head, one a bad head. Another great part is when Sparks Snorter stole two bags of gold. It must have been the "Ruby Rush" then.

My daughter Leela loved "CRIMSON AND THE BATTLE OF LONELY MOUNTAIN" because she is into dragons and castle theme books now. Crimson the dragon was very kid friendly and an easy to read book. I recommend this book for children because it's interesting and fun.
