Deadly Remains: Book One of A Clairvoyant's Complicated Life
THERE ARE DAYS WHEN LIRE DEVON WOULD KILL TO BE CONVENTIONAL.

Espresso at Peabody's. Lunch with friends. Quiet evenings at home with someone special... Sometimes she'd give anything to be that girl. But nothing is ever that simple when you're the most talented clairvoyant in Seattle.

Now there's a murder, as baffling as it is horrifying, and the police want Lire to help them flush out the killer. Well at least some of them do. Detective Sgt. Vanelli seems a lot more interested in picking a fight than enlisting her aid.

This first book in a delicious new contemporary fantasy series from Katherine Bayless is a fresh mix of mystery and romance with a heady dash of the supernatural.

About the Author

Day-dreamer and committed late-sleeper, Katherine Bayless writes paranormal fantasy and romance for fun and occasional profit. When she isn't adventuring vicariously through her stories or playing wrangler to her three children, Katherine crafts hand-made greeting cards, lays waste to the Scourge in World Of Warcraft, and indulges various addictions to cooking shows, science documentaries, and digital photography.
Katherine's writing career began when she wondered what a clairvoyant's life would be like, an idea that sparked her imagination and added 'creative writing' to her brimming list of hobbies. In her pre-Mommy life, Katherine worked as a software engineer in the game industry, where she not only met her awesome husband but also discovered her passion for fantasy stories and role-playing games.

Over the past twenty years, she has moved eleven times, calling California, Oregon, Washington, and Illinois home states at one time or another. She currently lives happily in view of Central Oregon's ancient volcanoes with her husband, three children, and a sweet but shamelessly spoiled whippet named Patches.

Although Katherine freely admits she'd rather live inside her head and write stories instead of blog posts, she always makes the time to respond to emails and blog comments.

She hopes you'll visit her at www.katherinebayless.com.
