Overview

The “blahs” is a description my mother used to apply when she was having a bad day. What she usually meant was that she just could not get the motivation or the energy to jumpstart her day. As an adult, I have realized exactly how the “blahs” work on the human emotions. The actual term for these emotions is depression. Depression ranges in severity from mild sadness like the “blahs” to thoughts of suicide. Sadly, almost every human being has had some form of depression throughout a lifetime."Traveling Light in Times of Darkness" is about one woman's victorious journey through depression. There are coping skills for making the dark journey and into the glorious life beyond and many profound life lessons that grace the pages of this little book. There is LIFE out there for the soul who grants the Light permission to shine upon the path.

DELL BELEW is a minister, English professor, writer, and artist. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and attended Erskine Theological Seminary and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Dell has been teaching and leading workshops for many years and has published several supplemental English textbooks and books of essays and short stories.
