About the Author

Dr. Stan A. Toler is a general superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene with an office at the Global Ministry Center of the denomination in Lenexa, Kansas. He was chosen for the highest elected office in the church at the 27th General Assembly at Orlando, Florida, in July 2009, after serving for 40 years as a pastor in Ohio, Florida, Tennessee and Oklahoma.
