About the Author

Bronx, New York-born writer and artist Franco Aureliani has been drawing comics since he could hold a crayon. Currently residing in upstate New York with his wife, Ivette and son, Nicolas, he spends most of his days in his Batcave-like studio where he works on comics projects. In 1995, Franco founded Blindwolf Studios, an independent art studio where he and fellow creators can create children’s comics. Franco is the creator, artist and writer of Weirdsville, L’il Creeps, and Eagle All Star, as well as the co-creator and writer of Patrick the Wolf Boy. Franco recently finished work on Superman Family Adventures, and is now co-writing the new series The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires. When he’s not writing and drawing, Franco also teaches high school art.

Meet eight-year-old Michael Evans, also known as Dino-Mike, who travels the world with his famous paleontologist father in search for dinosaur fossils. In the previous story in the series, the paleontologists on Dino-Mike’s first dig overlook four softball-sized objects that Dino-Mike sees. He is then credited with finding four dinosaur eggs. What a discovery! The eggs are displayed in the New York Museum of Natural History, where Dino-Mike and his father are honorary guests. Small cracks are seen on the eggshells and, in minutes, four T. Rex babies are running inside the display case. They find a way out and are soon running wild in the museum. This adventure is a continuation of the book in the “Dino-Mike” series, Dino-Mike and the T. Rex Attack. Ideally, readers should be familiar with the first title, since it explains how Dino-Mike and his father found the dinosaur eggs in Montana. Characters named Shannon and Jurassic Jeff are also introduced in the first title and reappear in key roles in this title. The book has a table of contents listing ten chapters, each six to fifteen pages in length. Black, white and gray illustrations are found throughout with a few full-page and one double-page spread. Easy to read language and clues found in the illustrations make this book good for the targeted audience. A glossary and “Dino Facts” section are included. Other titles in the series include Dino-Mike and the Underwater Dinosaurs and Dino-Mike and the Jurassic Portal. An adventure combining humor, action and dinosaurs. This book is well-done.
