About the Author

Louise Salisbury grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She was a professional dancer and choreographer for thirty years, maintaining her own company called Dance Connection. She has a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language. She was an ESL teacher in Taiwan, Japan, and Seattle, Washington, for fifteen years before retiring in Seattle in 2016. She is mother to a son and a daughter, and grandmother to five grandchildren.
