Enjoy keeping a writing journal by responding to Nikki Maxwell’s daily prompts. Readers who have read the “Dork Diaries” series have the opportunity to write their answers to Nikki’s questions like, “What’s the latest juicy gossip?” or “What toppings do you love on your pizza?” for their daily entries. Some of Nikki’s prompts refer to characters (i.e. Brianna, Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon) in the series; for example one question involves selecting one of the characters as a study buddy and providing an explanation for the selection. There are a few lines for recording your entries each day and the diary is for two years. Nikki’s note to the readers indicates that one may start on January 1 or the current date. The second year responses are written below the first year entries. During the second year, one may read the previous year’s entry and notice changes or similarities in the responses to the prompts.
