About the Author

John F. Dillon was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended grammar and high school on Long Island. Upon graduation from Sewanhaka High School,he enlisted into the US Navy, and served aboard the battleship USS WESCONSIN and destroyer USS BARRY. Following four years of service, John received an Honorable Discharge, married, fathered four sons and gained employment in the aerospace industry on Long Island. He attended evening classes at CW Post College and in 1969 received a Bachalor of Science Degree In 1986, he relocated to Florida and continued advancing in the Aerospace Industry. John was in his fifties in 1992 was downsized into the ranks of the unemployeed and began a career as a novelist and short story writer. His books include, "Return to Islamorada", "Downsized" , " A Tale Before Departure", "Teejus Journey" and "The Fool and The Jew". He has also compiled the collection of Short Short Stories that are availible to read for free on his web site http://johnfdillon.com".
