Start with some major names -- Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, football's Jim Brown, and Fernando Lamas -- and throw in a little interracial sex (Brown and Welch), a mistreated minority (Yaqui Indians), and a tyrannical governor (Lamas), and the result is this intentionally controversial western, showcasing the irrepressible Reynolds.
