Underdog stories are common in the world of sports films, but Blood, Sweat + Gears takes a different angle on the tradition. This documentary follows the only American ProTour cycling team, who must not only battle their way to the top, they must also do it without the benefits of any illegal performance enhancers. Their efforts take them from their home country all the way to France, where they compete in the renowned Tour de France.
