Overview

A Japanese schoolgirl invites six of her best friends on a trip to visit her beloved aunt in the countryside, only to discover that her ailing relative's quaint country home has been overtaken by evil spirits in this hallucinatory shocker that's truly in a class all its own. Conceived by director Nobuhiko Obayashi in collaboration with his 11 year old daughter, Hausu is a schizophrenic, special-effects heavy head trip of truly epic proportions.
