Damir (Peter Hooten), a young sea captain, and Anastasia (Bo Derek) his erstwhile sister (later shown to be adopted -- as he was -- but from another family) return to their home on a Greek island with plans of setting the island up as a tourist resort. Once they find out they are not really brother and sister, the attraction they feel for each other is allowed to develop and they appear to be heading for eternal commitment (as marriage partners). Anastasia (16 years old, the age of Bo Derek during this shoot in 1973) poses for a visiting photographer, and throughout the film, expresses her obsession with bathing in odd places and unusual tubs. Time goes by in this fashion as Anastasia bathes and her lover waits for their first ship of tourists to come in. Viewers looking for drama, human pathos, or even a light comedy of manners, might prefer to spend the 81 minutes with their own bathtub at home.
