Overview

Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster star as two competing officers aboard a WWII submarine. Gable is given the command of a sub, leaving the disgruntled Lancaster an unhappy officer. Even so, they must remain focused on the task at hand: sinking the Japanese destroyer that destroyed their first sub.
