Overview

This documentary, narrated by Orson Welles, tells the story of the world's youngest and best-known pharaoh: King Tut. Fame and fortune are the legacy of Tutankhamen, who ruled Egypt while in his teens, and died in 1343 B.C. His life was shrouded in mystery until the repeated searches for his remains bore fruition in 1922, when Egyptologist Howard Carter discovered King Tut's tomb. The film catalogs the magnificent art treasures that were buried with the boy king. There is an original music score by Robert Maxwell.
