Overview

In this film, set in Australia in the early-19th century, Lady Henrietta is driven out of her home after eloping with stableman Sam Flusky. Accused of murdering Henrietta's brother, Flusky is transported to Australia, where he starts life anew, even while his wife descends further into alcoholism and self-hatred.
