Echoes of the Same
Nicki Salcedo's second collection of personal essays remind us that we are all the same. We find connections in the grocery store. We grieve for family and friends. We laugh at our own embarrassing moments. Using humor and truth, Salcedo inspires us to rethink our perceptions of the world.

These essays come from a column called Intersections (italics) for Decaturish.com, a locally sourced news site based in Atlanta. Salcedo watches the world and transforms what she sees into words. When she sees snow and pollen, she looks for similarities. These essays are her observations. Sometimes funny and sometimes sad. Nicki Salcedo always looks for goodness. And finds it.
