About the Author

Sally Wendkos Olds is a writer and journalist who writes predominantly about child development, family life, and medicine. Olds graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English literature. More than 200 of her articles have been published in major magazines such as Woman's Day, McCall's, The New York Times Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Seventeen, and many others. Olds is a lifetime member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. She lives in Manhattan.
