The idea for this story was conceived thirty years ago when a life teacher of sorts presented a simple illustration of eternity to a small group of listeners. It is not known whether or not the simple little mind picture stayed with others throughout the years in the same way that it stayed with the author. It is unlikely that anyone remembers the names or faces of those gathered together on that particular day. In this book, images that remained in the author’s mind found their way upon the pages. The intention is for readers to begin thinking about this thing called eternity when pondering certain questions in life.
