There are conflicts in moral judgment between philosophies, between cultures, and even inside an individual conscience. This study takes an interdisciplinary approach focused on modern evolutionary biology to show that such contradictions are systemically determined in a social, functional world. The resulting model of a “relation-type ethics” offers a foundation for better understanding human ethics as a whole.
