Hank's son, Isaac, 27 years later, comes to Canada to find his father, whom he has never met. Kristian Berge, a Christian Priest, orchestrates their arrest for participating in an illegal Potlatch dance. Eye In The Dark will take you from a Viking funeral in 1021 to a Winter Ceremonial dance of the Kwakiutl First Nation in 1951, as the characters struggle with beliefs and culture, with desire for identity and peace by way of a hidden past.

About the Author

Peter was born in Port Alberni, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. In 1979, he obtained a B.Ed. from McGill University. He subsequently attended Oslo University on a Norwegian Government Scholarship. He has lived in Skarnes, Norway, close to the Finnish Woods. In 1983, he managed a federal program to provide urban First Nations Youth with cultural resources. After obtaining his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 1984, he has practiced law for 27 years in the Greater Vancouver area. He lives in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. In the mornings, he reads Hebrew, which he studied upon the suggestion of his daughter, Jannah.
