One day while exploring the gardens, Connie climbs in a window of the estate house and discovers that book fairies live in the library. She befriends a fairy named Ruby, and the pair begin a quest to help Ruby locate a ring she lost and return it to its rightful owner, ending Ruby's banishment from fairyland. In the process, Connie reunites members of an estranged family and learns about friendship. This second title from author Gwyneth Rees's Fairies series (published in the UK in 2004) comes alive with this lively reading by British actress Sophie Ward who employs slight vocal pitch changes to reflect different characters.
