Seventeen-year-old Stevie Nixon had hopes that her senior year at Sleepy Hollow High would be memorable. But finding a plain antique box, which contains a single yellowed paper, spells out dire consequences for her and everyone she loves. Stevie sets out to unravel the mystery the clue hides and find a way to spare her family from the vengeance of an ancient curse. To have any chance of success she must rely on her old friends as well as newcomer, Ian Morris, a recent transplant to Sleepy Hollow who has embedded himself into the group. Stevie knows that she must challenge herself and her beliefs if she is to withstand the Fiendish Fall.

About the Author

Christine was born and raised in Western New York, and continues to make her home there.

After high school, she studied physics and earth science at SUNY College at Brockport, as well as earning her NYS Teaching Certificates. Her graduate work was done at the University of Buffalo, where she received a Masters in Science Education.

Christine spent 19 years teaching high school science, ranging from physics to forensics, in the Western New York area.

Always a voracious reader, Christine began experimenting with her writing by penning several short stories while in high school. She dabbled at her writing until 2008, when she decided to commit to writing a full length novel.

Enjoying the experience so much, she decided to pursue her writing full time in 2010, and left her teaching position.

Christine is a member of the Write Touch Writers Group, Sisters in Crime, Romance Writers of America (pending), and Mystery Writers of America (pending). She is an avid aviation enthusiast, and spends her free time building her own plane.
