About the Author

My writer’s name is Cleopatra, and for years, I daydreamed of writing a short story that encompassed imagination entwined with real experiences and characteristics of my closest friends and family. My first book, My First, started in the midst of my divorce as a distraction of my pain and shelved for 15 + years - life situations and procrastination has a way of delaying dreams and destiny. At the time, my life consisted of four children who I decided to relocate to Atlanta, GA in 2003. Like many single mothers, I consumed myself with the needs now five children, sparingly picking and dusting off unwritten pages. During my reinvention, I managed to obtain a master’s degree in Marketing. Now in the 16th year of dusting off an unfinished book and with the encouragement of my Angry Angels I made it my purpose to publish my first book.

Editorial Reviews

This was a nice start for this first time author. Editing would have helped to made this story more enjoyable. The premise for the story was nice. A woman trying to decide if her once flame and father of her son was worth a do over.. I would have liked more intimacy between the lovers. But overall, a nice story.. 3.5 Stars...
