Rosalie C. Mixson was born in Charleston, South Carolina.

Although she always had a passion for writing, it was not until she retired from the retail industry that she could fully focus on her literary career.
When her children were younger, the author was a stay-at-home mom. This afforded her the opportunity to write short stories to read to her children all the time. It is due to the love she has for her children that she hopes her book will successfully send a good message to its readers.
In her leisure, the author loves reading, writing, playing games on the computer, solving jigsaw puzzles, and loves attending Sunday school.
