About the Author

The author of Footsteps of a Grieving Mother. Born Roberta Marietta Dotson but is well-known as Marietta Dotson. The youngest of ten children, five girls and five boys raised in a single-parent home by her mother, the late Mrs. Ida Pearl Payne Dotson. She is single, and is a single parent of two children in which one of her children is the reason why she wrote this book. The author is a well-reserved young lady who is hardworking, who is a spiritual lead, and who enjoys life and loves people of all ages. She has a very strong passion for children and has a lot of young and now adult children that refer to her as mama. Her heart and home has been and still to this day open to many of her children now and former friends.
