About the Author

Victoria Noe promised a friend before she died that she'd write a book about people grieving their friends. That book became the award-winning FRIEND GRIEF series.

Noe is a member of Alliance of Independent Authors, Chicago Writers Association and ACT UP/NY, as well as serving as Library Journal's first SELF-e Ambassador.

Her freelance articles have appeared in A&U Magazine, Positively Aware Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post and Windy City Times. Her essay, "Long-Term Survivor" won the 2015 Christopher Hewitt Award for Creative Nonfiction.
