The awful truth is that only 4 out of every 7 teenagers will go on to attend college after graduating high school and for many reasons some will not complete this journey. Everyone wants the American dream for their kids; they want them to get a degree, find a great job, get married and have children, buy a house with a white picket fence then live happily ever after. Here’s a shocker! The American dream will be just that for many of our youth, a dream! Too often teens can’t afford college, have no interest in going, did not prepare for it, have kids early or are undecided any one of which causes them not to attend college and to head straight into the sub-par job market. Minimum wage can barely pay utility bills let alone take care of a family; this, more times than not, places our kids in the lowest class of society (in reference to a three-tier society of Lower Class, Middle Class or the Upper Class). This book gives our youth a choice as to what class they want to end up in, how much income they want to earn and how to begin that journey while still in high school without getting any student loans or attending any college. It will put our youth on track to become prosperous entrepreneurs and professionals by making them aware of career choices that they probably didn’t even know existed for them as teens.
Gate Key doesn’t only make our youth aware of these opportunities, but will show when, where and how to start one of these featured career paths while still a teen. This book is designed to open doors for those that cannot or will not be attending college after high school for some reason or another. Even now you have the power in you to be whoever you want to be! My purpose is to open your eyes to some of the many options that the world has to offer. Bestselling Author; ANTWAN 'ANT' BANK$, a U.S Army Veteran has a prolific background in business development to include the night club industry, insurance/finance and publishing industry where he launched businesses and made tons of money doing it. His strong entrepreneur spirit all started as a young boy when his Grandmother enrolled him in a summer youth program at the local community center. It was there that a young woman by the name of Mrs. Martin exposed him to the process of taking an idea from his head and making it a reality.

He states that she gave the entire summer class a project to create a tangible good to resale without investing any money for the product. They had to find everyday things from home to create this item then sell it for a profit but it had to be something that they created. Antwan came up with the ingenious idea of making flowers in a jar. He took an empty pickle jar from the kitchen and washed off the label. Afterwards he gathered two candles from his Grandmothers cabinet and took a few fake roses from a plastic flower arrangement he found in her barn. Antwan then sat at the kitchen table, placed the jar lid upside down on the table then took a lighter and melted a small mound of wax in the center of the lid. He then snipped the plastic stems of the roses in different lengths, stuck them in the mound of wax, placed the jar over them and gently screwed it to the lid. To finish the project he wrapped some blue cloth around the lid then tied it to the jar with a white ribbon. Antwan made three of those flower jars that evening and went on to sell them and several more at the community center. From that point on the drive to create businesses, grow them and earn money became a life-long passion.
Mr. BANK$, is a true believer in the American dream and how ones dreams can become a reality if they just work hard at it. His innate ability to put pen to paper to create a compelling story is now his everyday passion. It's not a day that passes by when he isn't writing or focusing on his next writing project.
