Overview

C.J. likes to have fun using his vivid imagination, but he is alone most of the time. It seems a little challenging these days for him to find a friend to hang out with. C.J. begins to imagine himself as the great General Wolf barking orders in to the static of an old hand radio he finds. Bravely guarding the woods by his house, General Wolf one day hears a mysterious voice over the radio claiming to be a Sergeant Wilcox. The Sergeant is ready to take orders from General Wolf, but C.J. is unable to find out who the mystery voice really is. Nonetheless, a friendship begins for C.J.. Imaginary battles and missions abound between the General and his Sergeant until a real threat looms... the dreaded school bully called "The Grim". Will the General and his Sergeant prevail over this intimidating adversary? Will General Wolf finally discover the true identity of his secret Sergeant Wilcox?

About the Author

Scott Schweppe began writing his children's stories by first telling them to his two daughters. After his girls were grown, they and his wife insisted that he let others enjoy his tales. Out of this effort was born "Scottales". Scott’s adventures are about fun, fears, and the courage to be who we are.

Aside from writing, Scott also teaches doctors and nurses how to document their care of patients in a computer system. Scott lives in Pennsylvania and is happily married with two amazing daughters who are currently attending college.
