Since then, even though she is legally blind, Roela has been steadfast in her faith and her covenant to fulfill God’s Divine new plan, and purpose for her new life. In this new book, Roela hopes to continue to inspire many people and help them to deepen their faith and translate it into action: to learn to live the art of righteous and grateful living; and to enjoy and cherish the simple joys of life. It also features Roela’s selected water color paintings in the refreshing Oriental free style done before and after she became legally blind. Even with her vision challenge and physical limitations, Roela often travels with her husband Jun, who is her partner in life and ministry, service and witness, to share God’s love, grace, hope, and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

About the Author

DR. MAXIMIANO JUN M. RIVERA
He is a retired school administrator and educator who served as Vice-President and Campus Administrator at Makati University in the Philippines. He served as professorial lecturer of several colleges and universities there. He also served as Assistant Director and faculty member of Tennessee State University Honors Program in Nashville. He is a certified scientist specialist, inventor, and author of Educational Research books. He is a loving husband to Author Roela, devoted father of three children, and proud grandfather of five lovable grandchildren. He and Roela reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

MS. MARTHA ANN SPOTTSWOOD PILCHER
A dedicated Christian woman, Ms. Pilcher, has served the United Methodist Church in various capacities as Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Scarritt-Bennett Center; as Manager of Public Relations and Interim Director of Public
Relations at The United Methodist Publishing House; and
Assistant Director of Development at Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a retired Coordinator of Volunteers for Book'em, a children's literacy non-profit organization. She is an active member of West End United Methodist Church where she helps produce theater plays for all ages. Martha Ann is a gifted writer-editor, and an artist in her own right.
