Born in Czechoslovakia, Nadia Komorova studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia, where she also received instruction in classical piano, the music of which continues to fill her studio as she creates her paintings. Nadia uses any traditional medium, as well as the digital approach in her work. She has illustrated several children's titles for Five Star Publications, Inc., including Horrifa, The Moon Saw it All, and Alfie's Bark Mitzvah.
Sharon I. Ritt received her doctorate in curriculum K-12 at Northern Arizona University. She has taught in elementary school Title I reading programs and in the Northern Arizona University Center for Excellence in Education. After moving to southern Arizona, Sharon taught in the ESL programs in Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. She is currently a storyteller/singer at the Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek and continues to teach Language Arts workshops in Arizona and around the United States.
