About the Author

Robert Farrell is a self-taught guitarist with over seventeen years of experience. During the eighth grade, he picked up his first Les Paul replica guitar and started trying to teach himself to play by ear.

Years later, while earning his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at college, he continued to self-learn and also performed and recorded with various bands. Guitar opened up a new world of creative expression and life-long learning for him that continues even to this day.
