About the Author

Kip Woodring obtained his first motorcycle license before he turned the age of fourteen, and likes to say, “I’ve never been without a motorcycle since - except for six months when I lost my license in 1970.  I've owned so many motorcycles in the last 47-years, I've lost count of the total. Got my first job in the industry, because I hung around the local shop so much they figured if they couldn't get me to leave, they might as well put me to work!"  Since that first license and that first job in the motorcycle industry, Kip has worked at over ten motorcycle dealerships, not to mention Custom Chrome and Triumph of America.  In between his various jobs at various motorcycle dealerships and parts emporiums, Kip authored two books, is currently on the staff of Thunder Press, and does free-lance work for five additional magazines, from Hot Bike to V-Twin Magazine.
