The Lawman
In a lawless town, you get your pick of devils.
A LITTLE SLICE OF HELL
No more speculating. Hell does indeed exist--Deputy U.S. Marshal Jack Slade can attest to that--and it's out in Oklahoma Territory, a town called Gehenna. On any given day there, someone's liable to kill, steal, or cattle rustle. Now, two heartless honchos are fighting over the place. And all the decent townspeople are boarding their windows--and praying for their lives.
Thing is, both tycoons want Slade acting as their pawn against the other--but the lawdog works for no one but justice. In this battle, it's impossible to know whose side anyone's on. Slade must be at the ready--or else lose the war...
