Sally L. Barendse was a head start and elementary school teacher, a spiritual energy healer and one of the best mothers ever. Loved by everyone around her she was an empath and a true humanitarian. This writing was started years ago and found after her passing in 2007. Sarah, her daughter, edited and published this piece in hopes of helping families dealing with terminal illness.
