Brains, a surface designer, illustrator, and humorist, assembles a book of quirky hexes (some with historical roots and some of her own devising) that will please readers who don’t take their hexing too seriously. Each hex is clever, a sentence in length, and accompanied by a fun illustration drawn by the author. Hexes are divided into cheeky categories such as pets, hipster life, weddings and events, daily drudgery, and roommates.
