Tim Derk made his debut as the Coyote on April 13, 1983. He appeared in over 1,100 games as the Coyote—while averaging almost 200 community appearances a year. Today he is manager of mascot development for Spurs Sports and Entertainment.

David Robinson played with the San Antonio Spurs for fourteen years and was winner of the NBA’s Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and Player of the Year awards, among many others.
